I am excited to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year! My name is Sylvia Gardiner. I am a native Floridian and have lived in Georgia for over 20 years. This is my 23rd year with Clayton County Public Schools! This is my fourth year here at Adamson Middle School and I was the 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year for Adamson Middle!  I am excited to be Co-Teaching 6 grade English Language Arts and 8 grade Mathematics.

 I have always had a love for teaching and spent my first few years here volunteering in my daughter’s schools. My daughter is a graduate of Clayton County Public Schools. I have a strong belief in family and education.

In the learning environment that is conducive to teaching and learning there are a few things that I stick to in the plan: Be respectful to all person, Keep  hands, feet and objects to yourself, come prepared, participate fully, and ask questions.  

 I graduated from Cambridge College with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in Special Education and from Piedmont College with an Educational Specialist in Teacher Leadership.
